BayEmail Services

When annoying Spammers send out bulk junk mail, they use fake addresses to avoid being inundated with your and many other people's complaints, removal requests, or returned mail. Because these fake addresses are rather random and they change each time, it becomes absolutely impossible to set up a filter in your e-mail client to remove all these annoying culprits and their Spam.

Standard, less effective Anti-Spam Software works on what is called a Blacklist approach where any mail arriving from an address in the Blacklist is not delivered to the recipient and is effectively blocked. This approach, unfortunately, does not work with most Spam as the 'From:' address is random and always new. In the end, the best you can do is block e-mail from actual known sources but still, the Spam gets to your computer.

All email is run through several spam filters and virus scanners prior to you ever seeing it. This keeps our cost down and you are kept safe.

SPAM Filters no longer work effectively!

BayEmail uses reverse technology, which is based on a Whitelist approach to Spam control. Instead of returning mail coming from an address in the Blacklist, BayEmail's clever approach means that e-mail is only delivered if it is in the Whitelist.

So, how then, does someone get onto your Whitelist?
That's quite easy. Initially you can add all the people you know into your Whitelist, and their mail will continue to arrive in your mailbox as normal. Any e-mail arriving from someone not in your Whitelist will receive a confirmation request to confirm his or her intentions to send you mail. If there were an automated Spam mailout occurring, no-one would be there to manually confirm this Spam.

Let's say Frank sends you an e-mail for the very first time. Without you even knowing, Frank will receive an automatic response from our server  advising that his address has attempted to send you mail, and whether this was really his intention. Of course if Frank's intention was in fact to send you mail, he would confirm the request, and his e-mail is delivered to you. At the same time Frank's e-mail address is added to your Whitelist and he can now send you e-mail at any time without having to confirm the delivery again.

Now the annoying Spammer that uses fake e-mail addresses to send unsolicited commercial e-mail (UCE) / junk mail / SPAM will not receive the confirmation request because they used a fake address. Their intention is never confirmed; the Spam mail never gets delivered to your Inbox and you get your time and freedom back - as well as control of your Inbox again!
